Leeuwarden Air Force Base, The Netherlands
1st & 16th of June 2021.

1st and 16th of June 2021 I visited Leeuwarden Air Force Base (The Netherlands) because the F16s stationed there will be moved to Volkel Air Force Base from the 1st of July 2021, so last chance to see them in action from here also a number of Belgian F16's were present for an exercise (Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) and they flew a lot.
Also the F35's flew well during the days I was there and a few other visitors.
On this page my photo report with 77 photos.

Air Base Information:
Leeuwarden Air Base (Dutch: Vliegbasis Leeuwarden) is a military airbase used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) - Dutch: Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu), (IATA: LWR, ICAO: EHLW).
The airbase will only be a F-35 airbase for RNLAF after 1st of July 2021, all F-16 activities will only take place at Volkel AFB.
The airbase lies northwest of the capital of Friesland, Leeuwarden.
Leeuwarden Air Base is also one of the three military airbases (together with Gilze-Rijen Air Base and Volkel Air Base) that organise the twice-in-three-years Luchtmachtdagen ('Air Force Days') of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, consisting of air shows and static exhibits. In 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2016 Leeuwarden Air Base hosted these public demonstration days. [Source: Wikipedia]
